These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of uosindia.com and the supply of UOS India Private Limited ("UOS India") office furniture and related services. By using this website or placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About us
UOS India Private Limited (CIN: U36999UR2018PTC008690, GSTIN: 05AACCU2427L1ZC) is a private limited company registered in Uttarakhand, India, with its manufacturing facility at Khasra No. 248 Kha Kuanwala Industrial Area, Dehradun, Uttarakhand - 248008.
2. Use of the website
You may browse the site, request quotations and place enquiries for lawful business purposes only. You agree not to: (a) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its underlying systems; (b) introduce malicious code; (c) scrape product information for republication without our written consent; (d) impersonate any person or entity.
3. Product information and pricing
Product images and descriptions are representative. Actual finishes, fabrics and dimensions may vary slightly due to manufacturing tolerances and natural variations in materials. All prices are quoted on request and are valid for 30 days from the date of the quotation unless otherwise stated. Prices exclude applicable GST, freight and installation unless explicitly included in the quotation.
4. Orders and acceptance
Submitting an enquiry or purchase order constitutes an offer to buy. The contract is formed only when UOS India issues a written sales-order acceptance. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion, including for reasons of credit, capacity or material availability.
5. Payment terms
Standard terms are 50% advance against order confirmation and 50% on dispatch from our Dehradun factory, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Government-tender, PSU and large-corporate orders are handled on the customer's standard payment terms. All payments are in Indian Rupees (INR) by NEFT, RTGS, IMPS or company cheque drawn in favour of "UOS India Private Limited".
6. Delivery and installation
Standard lead times are 4-8 weeks from sales-order acceptance, depending on quantity, customisation and current factory load. Delivery is door-to-door across India via our logistics partners; risk passes to the customer on physical delivery. Installation is included on supply contracts above the threshold mentioned in the quotation; otherwise, on-site installation is chargeable.
7. Warranty
Each product carries the manufacturer warranty stated on its product page (typically 24-60 months). The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal commercial use. It does not cover: ordinary wear and tear; damage from accident, misuse, modification, or unauthorised repair; fabric/upholstery fading from prolonged sunlight; damage in transit if installation was not performed by UOS India personnel. Warranty claims must be raised within the warranty period at info@uosindia.com with photographs and the original invoice.
8. Returns and cancellations
See our separate Return & Refund Policy for details. In short: standard products may be returned within 7 days of delivery if unused and in original packaging; customised/made-to-order items are non-returnable.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this website - product designs, photographs, text, logos, the "UOS India" name and the "Unique Office Systems" trade name - is the property of UOS India Private Limited and is protected by Indian and international IP laws. No content may be copied, redistributed or used commercially without prior written permission.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UOS India's total liability arising out of or in connection with any contract or website use shall not exceed the invoice value of the goods supplied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages including loss of profits, business interruption or loss of data.
11. Force majeure
UOS India shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, government action, strikes, pandemics, supply-chain disruptions, fires, floods or transport blockades.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
